Green Smoothie Cleanse
Restart your gut for the new season

During season transitions is one of the best times to do a nutritional cleanse. Its a time of the year when you can set clear intentions on what you want your lifestyle to be and do away with bad habits from the last season.

RevFit wasn't planning on hosting a cleanse this season but since there were a few folks who inquired about doing one, we figured we'd do a small informal group cleanse. Invite who ever you'd like to join and make sure they join the facebook group page for peer support and updates.

Here is the breakdown of the cleanse schedule:
Wed 09/17: Prep Day 1 : Eat early, no heavy foods after sundown. Drink a lot of liquids and soups. No refined sugar, no added sweeteners and cut off the coffee.
Thurs 09/18: Prep Day 2 : Cut out the animal protein and dairy products. Also cut off protein replacements like soy, seitan and wheat glutens./ Or just eat raw salads and fruits if you are doing 5-day.
Fri 09/19: Prep Day 3/ Begin 5 day : No cooked foods, grains, bread, pasta, legumes, wheat or oil. Just eat raw salads and fruits./ Or begin your first day of green smoothies if you are doing 5-day.
Sat 09/20: Prep Day 4/ Day 2 of 5 : Just eat raw salads and fruits./ Or only green smoothies if you are doing 5-day.
Sun 09/21: Day 1 of 3/ Day 3 of 5 : Only Green Smoothies
Mon 09/22: Day 2 of 3/ Day 4 of 5 : Only Green Smoothies
Tues 09/23: Final Day: Only Green Smoothies, break cleanse with an evening salad.
